****"Waiting on Wednesday" is a weekly event hosted by

Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly
anticipating.****
My pick this week is:
This week I decided to do a Rick Riordan theme so keep and eye out for my Author Love and Series Love. I love everything Rick Riordan writes. I've read all his series again and again. Last year when I read the last page of The Son of Neptune I pushed the book to the end of the bed, sat in a ball and freaked out. I haven't stopped freaking out since then. If you've read it you'll know what I mean by saying it ended in one of the worst cliff-hangers ever and I love ranting about it to anyone who has read it. Seriously Rick Riordan?!?! Needless to say I'm ridiculously excited for this book. Like drop everything and read it from front to back as soon as it's in my hands excited. If I could just read the first couple chapters I might be okay. Just until they're reunited. Pretty Please?
The Mark of Athena by Rick Riordan Expected publication date: October 2nd 2012 from Hyperion Book CH In The Son of Neptune, Percy, Hazel, and Frank met in Camp Jupiter, the Roman equivalent of Camp Halfblood, and traveled to the land beyond the gods to complete a dangerous quest. The third book in the Heroes of Olympus series will unite them with Jason, Piper, and Leo. But they number only six--who will complete the Prophecy of Seven? The Greek and Roman demigods will have to cooperate in order to defeat the giants released by the Earth Mother, Gaea. Then they will have to sail together to the ancient land to find the Doors of Death. What exactly are the Doors of Death? Much of the prophesy remains a mystery. . . . With old friends and new friends joining forces, a marvelous ship, fearsome foes, and an exotic setting, The Mark of Athena promises to be another unforgettable adventure by master storyteller Rick Riordan. |
P.S. Happy Birthday to my wonderful Mom! I love you :)
