| Author Love is a meme we came up with. There are so many authors and books out there that we love so much and want the world to know about. If you want to play along all you have to do is pick one of your favorite authors. Write what you like about them and/or their books. You can also include an author bio and synopsis of their book if you want. My pick for this week is David Levithan.  About the author: David Levithan (born 1972) is an American children's book editor and award-winning author. He published his first YA book, Boy Meets Boy, in 2003. Levithan is also the founding editor of PUSH, a Young Adult imprint of Scholastic Press. I've become such a fan of this author. I've read three of this books and loved each of them! I had the chance to meet him at TLA 2013! I was brave enough to tap him on the shoulder in the exhibit hall and ask him to sign my book! He was pretty surprised we knew who he was! I can't wait to read more from him! If you haven't read any of his books, I suggest starting with Every Day because that is my favorite :) |
