Joint Review-
I didn't enjoy this one as much as I enjoyed the first one. I loved the first one because of the characters. There was a lot of tension between characters in this one. It had a more action packed storyline which I did enjoy. But, I missed the closeness between the characters. This had a very closed ending and I'm not sure if there is going to be another book. I would like to read it if another book is in the works.

There was two things that somewhat bothered me about Lenah. One, what she was doing to Justin. I didn't think it was fair for her to string him along like that. It was like she was forcing herself to be with him. He didn't deserve that. Second was the way she rushed into things. She didn't even think about what she was doing! Yes, she had good intentions but still. You would think she would know better than that.  Other than those two things I really enjoyed continuing her story. She's a pretty good character. I loved getting to know Rhode better. I was very happy he played such a big part to the story. I was also glad Vicken played such a big part. I loved him. Now my feelings for Justin are a little conflicted! He didn't really play as big of  a part. For that reason I didn't enjoy his character as much. I do hope their is a third book because I would like to continue these characters story.

This had a super great storyline. I loved all the action and suspense. I loved that I had no idea what was going to happen next so I never wanted to put it down. I loved how vastly different this one was from the first one. The tension between characters did annoy me at times. I missed the cuteness and the closeness between Justin and Lenah. Their relationship was one of the reasons I enjoyed the first one so much. Overall I did enjoy this one. It had its good things and its bad things! I was Happy to get back into this world. If you like vampires and action, you'll like this one.
