Waiting on Wednesday: Requiem by Lauren Oliver

****"Waiting on Wednesday" is a weekly event hosted by Jill at the Breaking The Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.****

My pick for this week is:

Requiem (Delirium, #3)
Requiem by Lauren Oliver
Expected release date: March 5th, 2012
from Harper Teen

Now an active member of the resistance, Lena has been transformed. The nascent rebellion that was under way in Pandemonium has ignited into an all-out revolution in Requiem, and Lena is at the center of the fight.

After rescuing Julian from a death sentence, Lena and her friends fled to the Wilds. But the Wilds are no longer a safe haven—pockets of rebellion have opened throughout the country, and the government cannot deny the existence of Invalids. Regulators now infiltrate the borderlands to stamp out the rebels, and as Lena navigates the increasingly dangerous terrain, her best friend, Hana, lives a safe, loveless life in Portland as the fiancĂ©e of the young mayor. Requiem is told from both Lena’s and Hana’s points of view. The two girls live side by side in a world that divides them until, at last, their stories converge.
I've been waiting for this book what feels like forever. Delirium is one of my favorite dystopians and even though I didn't love Pandemonium as much it still made me very anxious for the last one. I have things that I hope will happen in this and I have no idea if it will and that's exciting. I'm also very curious as to how the whole multiple points of view will work. I'm sad that it is the last one though. Why do series have to end? :(
