Author Love is a meme we came up with. There are so many authors and books out there that we love so much and want the world to know about. If you want to play along all you have to do is pick one of your favorite authors. Write what you like about them and/or their books. You can also include an author bio and synopsis of their book if you want.

My pick for this week is Jennifer L. Armentrout

# 1 New York Times and International Bestselling author Jennifer lives in Martinsburg, West Virginia. All the rumors you’ve heard about her state aren’t true. When she’s not hard at work writing. she spends her time reading, working out, watching really bad zombie movies, pretending to write, and hanging out with her husband and her Jack Russell Loki.

Her dreams of becoming an author started in algebra class, where she spent most of her time writing short stories….which explains her dismal grades in math. Jennifer writes young adult paranormal, science fiction, fantasy, and contemporary romance. She is published with Spencer Hill Press, Entangled Teen and Brazen, Disney/Hyperion and Harlequin Teen. Her book Obsidian has been optioned for a major motion picture and her Covenant Series has been optioned for TV.

She also writes adult and New Adult romance under the name J. Lynn. She is published by Entangled Brazen and HarperCollins.

Do I even need to explain why I love her? Not only does she write amazing books, she's super good at it and really funny. What else could you want? She writes faster than any other author I know of. It blows me away. She writes so fast that I can't even list all the books that she's written. So I'll just stick to the ones I've actually read. Her Covenant series just ended and that was the one I read first so I'm still really sad to see it go. I still have her Lux series, though. At least until August. *sigh* Lucky for me, she has a ton of other series for me to read and I hope to get to them very soon.

I think this is the only way to not have read any of her books:

So go you. Now stop avoiding it and read her books already. You can thank me later.

So that's the author I'm loving on this week. Feel free to comment with any other nice things you have to say about Jennifer L. Armentrout or what your favorite book by her is and I'll see you next time!
Marissa
