Teaser Tuesday #26

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
•Grab your current read
•Open to a random page
•Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
•BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
•Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

My teaser this week is from Elixir by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Elixir (Covenant, #3.5)

Aiden St. Delphi will do anything to save Alex.
Even if it means doing the one thing he will never forgive himself for.
Even if it means making war against the gods.
 Here's my teaser:
"I went down the stairs, detached as I could be. Knowing what I was about to take part in darkened my soul." -Page 37 of my pdf copy, which you can get here. But please, please, please read Deity first.

Those two sentences pretty much sum up the feel of the book. It's depressing at times. I really love reading from Aidens perspective though and I loved how determined he was. My wounds from Deity were fresh but there's still hope for Apollyon. *Spoilers ahead* I really hope Alex is herself again not just for Aiden but also because I think she is an amazing heroine and I'll miss her snark.

(I won't be writing a review for this because it is so short but that is basically what I felt)
