No synopsis
Since there isn't a synopsis I really didn't know what to expect starting this book and in the end I still don't know how to describe it but I liked it.
This book starts off with sixteen year old Abrianna just losing her mom. All she has left is her boyfriend Michael and her aunt. Then Michael starts acting strange and Graham shows up in her life and tells her that she's a weapon in a war between his kind the Primes and Michael's the Guardians. I was incredibly confused in the beginning not very much was explained except for in dialogue that was really choppy and it was all moving to fast. In the first couple chapters all this stuff happened and she kept saying she was in love with Graham when she had just met him and was supposed to be in love with Michael. As the story progressed and a little more was explained I started liking it more and caring for the characters. It was very fast paced and I couldn't wait for the end and to see what would happen to the characters.
I was rooting for Michael throughout the whole book. He was the nicest and he was always there for Abrianna despite everything. He would do anything for her and did do a lot for her. I never liked Graham. I thought he was pushy and tried way to hard to control Abrianna and tell her what to do. He kept saying he loved her but I don't think he knows what love is and I just felt bad for him in the end. There was another guy named Jonathan who showed up and said that Abrianna was his mate. He was very back and forth for me. At first I didn't like him then I did but towards the end I didn't like him at all. I was surprised at how my opinions of different characters changed or stayed the same by the end.
Speaking of the end I thought it was awesome and action packed. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I was afraid it wasn't going to end the way I wanted it to and that the characters where going to be happy. I'm not going to spoil anything but I'll just say that I liked how it ended.
All in all this book was very, very confusing at times but in the end I cared about the characters and how it was going to turn out for them. I enjoyed it and read it in one sitting. I wonder if there's going to be a sequel but sadly it doesn't look like it.
4/5 stars
