Review:
I find mythology of any kind fascinating. I love how differently the gods are portrayed in each book book I read. I've only read one other Egyptian mythology book I can think of and it was so different from this one that I never got bored. There was so many twist and turns I never stopped wondering what was going to happen next.

This book was told from two different perspectives. It was almost like two stories in one and I liked how different the protagonists were. Alex was super brave to the point of almost suicidal and I loved how selfless he was. Heather the other protagonist was kind of annoying at first but once I got to know her and her motives I really liked her. I kept hoping Alex and Heather would get together but I'm going to tell you if I got my wish or not you'll just have to see for yourself. I liked all the other characters too Miriam was awesome, Vladimir was hilarious and Sirota was super nice. I also felt really bad for the characters because it seemed like every single bad thing that could happen happened to them. I never knew who was going to survive in the end and who was going to betray them

Overall I really enjoyed this book the storyline was fastpaced and the setting was original and interesting. The writing kept me interested until the last page and I seriously hope that there will be a sequel.
