Series Love is a meme we came up with. There are so many amazing book series out there. We love to share the love and help spread the word. If you want to play along all you have to do is pick a series. It doesn’t matter if it only has one book or a million, as long as you include the authors name and the covers of the books

This week I'm loving on the Legend Series by Marie Lu!



This is such a unique series! I've never read anything like it. I was sucked in from book one. The series just got better as it continued. It's perfect for both boys and girls which is difficult to do. The characters are absolutely amazing. The plot is action packed and exciting. This series is so good I cant even pick a favorite book. I'm warning you, its a little hard on the heart at times! This author has a new YA series coming out this year called The Young Elites that I cant wait to check out. If you guys haven't read this series, I highly recommend! It's even finished so you don't have to wait :)

Review
This was a little off for me. I didn't really understand it. It had moments when it was all over the place. 

This tells the story of Angelina. After her parents death, she's just trying to survive. When Guillermo shows up with information about her inheritance and her past Angelina can't pass it up. She finds herself living a brand new life. But, it's not as great as she may have expected. 

Angelina wasn't a bad character but she wasn't great either. She was just okay for me. I did see some strength and determination in her at times. I liked that she was very careful about the things she was told and the people around her. This had some secondary characters. No one stood out though. We never got the chance to connect with anyone. 

This had a very unique concept. It was a little complex. The storyline was very all over the place. At times it didn't even make sense. There was a fair share of action. But even that was confusing and didn't seem to fit. I spent a lot of the book confused. Overall this was an okay read! A few more aspects and it would have been great!

I've seen a lot of people getting ARC's of this lately. The title caught my eye. The synopsis made me even more curious. This sounds like one fabulous read. I cannot wait to check it out!

Top Ten Tuesday (50)

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish. We'd love to share our lists with other bookish folks and would LOVE to see your top ten lists!

This weeks topic is Top Ten Reasons I love Being a Reader/Blogger. Once I got to thinking about it, it was very easy to come up with more than ten reasons. There's so many things to love about it, here's some of them!

This week is REWIND week. I'm super excited for the topic I picked. I read Marissa's post last week about her favorite things about blogging and reading. It made me think about what I would say. This is probably going to be an exact replica of Marissa's post but that's okay!

1. I love being a reader because it's like a part of me. I cant imagine what I would be like if I wasn't a nerd. It's like all those books have made me who I am. I know that sounds lame but it's true!
2. I love being a blogger because it's something to work for. I'm all about like accomplishing different things. It's not easy but the work is worth it.With each milestone I feel like I've accomplished something new!
3. I love being a reader because it's an escape. Books suck you in. When things aren't so great they make a good escape.
4. I love being a blogger because of the community. I had no idea when I first started blogging how big the community was. I've met so many bloggers and authors that I would never have had the chance to met if it wasn't for blogging. It's like one big happy family!
5. I love being a reader because I can take something from it. Every book I read, I feel like I take something different. Even if I don't love a book, there's still something I can take from it.
6. I love being a blogger because it's made me a better reader. Honestly, when I first started blogging I wasn't the super nerd I am today. The longer I blog the better reader I become.
7. I love being a reader because it gives me something to do. Boredom was one of the reasons I started reading. It's the best hobby there is.
8. I love being a blogger because I get to do it with my best friend. I may want to kill her sometimes but reading brought us together. Our friendship wouldn't be the same without it. Blogging brought us even closer. It's the one thing that is just us!

I know that wasn't ten but that's all I could think of. Like Marissa said this really made me think. It made me appreciate this amazing part of my life. It's easy to take it for granted! With Charlie becoming the girl she was never able to be pre-makeover and Aspen showing him how delicious it feels to embrace his inner beast, Dante will have to go somewhere he never thought he’d return to in order to accomplish the impossible: save the girl he’s been assigned to, and keep the girl he loves.


Review
I cannot get enough of this story. This was the best sequel! It had the same fabulous characters along with some new ones. The storyline had all the things I loved about the first book with a new plot! 

Dante has a brand spanking new cuff. He's gotten his first assignment and it's a toughie! Aspen is a bad girl. Dante is trying to be good for Charlie. But Aspen could make anyone go bad. 

Dante is like the perfect good, bad boy. His snark was definitely not lacking anything. I love how he takes everything seriously. I love his loving, sweet side. I loved getting to see a new side of him. He's getting pretty badass. Not that he wasn't before! I was happy to see so much of Charlie and her friends. Aspen made a great addition to this story. She was very tough and strong but still had a sweet side to her. I can't wait to see more of her in the next book. 

I may have liked this storyline more than the first. It was so exciting and fun. I loved getting to learn more about the Liberators. I loved all the action. I didn't see anything coming. I ended up reading this I'm just one sitting. It was impossible to put down. Overall I thought this was a perfect sequel. I am so glad I'm finally in on this series. If you haven't checked out this series, I highly recommend!

I devoured the first two books in this series, Of Poseidon and Of Triton, in a day each. And I loved the crap out of them. So even though the last book ended almost perfectly, I'm still really excited for this. Even if I wasn't I think I would buy it just for the cover. Just look at it.
